Holidays coming to an end...

So it's back to uni for me next week Monday. Seriously, YAY!!! I'm getting bored at home. I've spent endless hours reading, browsing the web, watching youtube videos, refreshing twitter (every 2 seconds) and even joined instagram in the last couple of days. Easily addicted to instagram. I can add another item to my procrastination list *sigh*

Haven't really done much over the holidays though. I feel like I havent accomplished much except for resting my poor little brain. I had high hopes and plans of getting a lot done these holidays but nothing really happened. I kept telling myself I would do tomorrow and for now just enjoy the holidays that I have been given. Never happened!

Another recent addiction of mine is the Nintendo Wii. Wii Plus in particular. After realizing that all I've done is eat, watching tv and sleep I thought it was time to get my butt in gear and start exercising. Wasn't I shocked when the thing weighed me! I had put on 5kg!!!!! SO I'm exercising like a mad woman right now and trying to eat healthy. Oh and did I mentioned that pretty much every second day I was baking something (e.g. cakes, chocolate treats, etc)

Well that's all for now. Write again soon xoxo

Pimples!

Yes been missing in action for a while, I know! Just got busy with uni, exams and then finally enjoying my holidays! =)

Weird thing though I'm getting HEAPS of pesky pimples. Now I'm the type of girl that usually gets one or two pimples once a month and some pimples when I'm highly stressed. So I'm finding it kind of weird that I'm getting pimples whilst in holiday mode and not doing ANYTHING productive. HAHAHA!

Anyways, I've heard great things about witch hazel. I was in priceline the other day and like a true makeup junkie when to grab as many maybelline tattoos I could without hurting my bank account. Then I decided to browse around because I love makeup and face products. That's when I stumbled upon witch branded products. Decided to give them a try and I was really glad that I did! I was deciding which product I wanted to pick up. There was a blemish stick and a blemish gel. I opted for the blemish stick because you could use it whenever you needed it whereas the gel required cleaning and putting it on at night only. I have been religiously using the blemish stick for about a week now and pimples are disappearing as quickly as they appear. It was also only $8.50!! Which i think is a bargain. It kind of tingles and burns when you put it on the pimple but I don't mind as long as those red little buggers disappear. I don't know if it would work for people with severe acne but it's working for my once in a while pimples. It works by removing excess oils from the face which can be a bit drying and also fights the bacteria that cause pimples.
Picture: Blemish stick that I bought..definitely will repurchase

P.S. Before getting the blemish stick I was a pimple popper (I know, I know, it's really bad. Trust me i have scars to prove it but I couldn't help it. Now with this little baby I dont see the need to pop)
